Alana Goldweit

Bio:
Alana Goldweit is the Director of Visioning & BD and an Associate at Bjarke Ingels Group. Since 2012, she has led research-driven, iterative designs to create bold, consensus-based solutions across product, interiors, architecture, and master planning. She bridges BIG’s creative and business leadership to shape both delivered projects and the opportunities pursued, directing design teams and facilitating client and stakeholder engagement to define project values and ensure a unified design direction. Alana’s portfolio includes future-forward, large-scale initiatives such as Oceanix, a sustainable floating city developed with UN-Habitat, and Telosa, an equitable, sustainable city in the US conceived with entrepreneur Marc Lore. She speaks on visionary design strategies that integrate innovation, equity, and long-term resilience. Alana brings to BIG experience gained at several New York City architecture firms, including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). Alana received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Barnard College, Columbia University and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, where her work was exhibited, published, and recognized with honors.
