Chad Sorenson

Bio:

Chad F. Sorensen is Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer with CHMWarnick, the leading provider of hotel asset management and owner advisory services. Chad is Chair Emeritus of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (“ISHC”), an invitation-only society comprised of prominent hospitality consultants from around the world. He is the Past-President and sits on the Board of Directors for the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (“HAMA”) and is a designated Certified Hotel Asset Manager (“CHAM”). 

With over 25 years of experience in hospitality real estate within asset management, advisory services, and leading hospitality organizations, he has become an industry leader in providing best-in-class service for clients ranging from sovereign wealth funds through high net-worth individuals.   

Chad is committed to charting the future path for the asset management discipline and for the next generation.  He sits on the ULI Hotel Development Council, AHLA Investment Roundtable, Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board, Michigan State Real Estate Investment Management Advisory Committee, and is a founding member of the Boston University Hospitality Real Estate Advisory Council.  He is an alum of the Harvard Business School, The University of Illinois Chicago, and Iowa State University.
