Justin Epps

Bio:

Justin Epps is a Managing Director in the Hotel Group of Barings LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MassMutual that invests in real estate and alternative investments on behalf of its clients.  Mr. Epps has over 25 years of real estate and hotel asset management experience and currently leads the Hotel Asset Management team at Barings.  Prior to rejoining Barings in the Fall of 2021 Mr. Epps was a Vice President at Watermark Lodging Trust (2018-2021) and previous to his first stint with Barings (2012-2017) was a Senior Vice President in JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group (2007-2012).  Prior to JLL, Justin held positions with Caesars Entertainment, Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and Prudential Capital.

Mr. Epps holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.  Mr. Epps is the Marketing & Communications Chair for the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) and also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Chicago Lights, a nonprofit organization that provides community outreach and services for residents of the City of Chicago.
