Leanne Harwood is the Senior Vice President (SVP), Managing Director, Luxury, Lifestyle & Managed Hotels in the Americas at IHG Hotels & Resorts. She oversees the daily operations of the organization, drives performance and operations of IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle brands, along with the Premium & Essential managed estate brands in the US and Canada and supports their growth in the region. An industry veteran with nearly three decades of hospitality experience, Harwood has been instrumental in accelerating IHG’s growth across the Americas. Since assuming her role in 2024, the region has celebrated a wave of marquee openings, including Regent Santa Monica, Six Senses Grenada, InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk, and Kimpton Las Mercedes in the Dominican Republic. She also oversaw key signings such as Coco Palms, a Kimpton Resort in Hawaii, and new InterContinental and Kimpton properties in Orlando and Napa Valley. Harwood’s focus on operational excellence and brand visibility has contributed to strong year-over-year performance across the Luxury, Lifestyle & Managed portfolio and continues to play a vital role in elevating brand visibility and guest experience.
