Bio:
Luis Mota holds a degree in International Business from ICADE (Madrid) and Northeastern University (Boston, USA), with a double major in Finance and International Business. He has over 15 years’ experience in investment banking, having worked at institutions such as Credit Suisse, where he spent 13 years, and BNP Paribas. He has worked in the field of mergers and acquisitions, having been responsible for Spain and Portugal at Credit Suisse, as well as in capital markets.
Having joined the Iberostar Group in January 2014 as Deputy to the Chairman, Luis Mota has held various roles in the areas of strategy, corporate development and finance, and is now the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer and a member of the Iberostar Group’s Executive Committee. His main responsibilities include the coordination and supervision of the Strategy, Planning & Control, Growth and Owner Relations departments.
