Her journey began with a BA in Business Administration from Clark University in Massachusetts, graduating with distinction, followed by an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
These academic foundations underpinned her subsequent leadership roles with global hotel chains, including Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton, and Marriott. However, it is her strategic insight and innovative approach that has earned her a name in the hospitality sector in Israel and abroad, excelling in concept development, pre-opening planning and digital marketing. Over the course of more than 30 years, Ronit has played a key role in shaping the success of boutique and independent hotels, lifestyle products, and large-scale hospitality ventures across Israel, the EU, and the United States.
Her commitment to nurturing industry success is demonstrated by her 360-degree business approach that considers everything from functionality to finances, making her a thought leader in the sector. She has shared her knowledge and experience as a speaker, writer, and advisor, delivering insights on emerging trends such as wellness tourism and sustainable development. Ronit served on the advisory boards of the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality organisation and the Boutique Lodging & Lifestyle Association (BLLA) from 2010 to 2020.
In 2010, Ronit founded Copeland Hospitality, a consultancy dedicated to providing bespoke solutions to the hospitality and lifestyle sectors. She has advised on numerous projects in Israel and across Europe and the U.S., further solidifying her reputation as a trusted partner for developers, investors, and operators. Through her extensive international network, multilingual abilities, and in-depth industry expertise, she has consistently delivered results which go beyond her clients’ expectations.
Ronit Copeland becoming founder and Managing Partner of HVS Tel Aviv is a natural progression in her career. Over the past 15 years, she has collaborated extensively with HVS, contributing to high-profile projects across Israel and Europe and working closely with HVS London. Her deep understanding of hospitality valuation, market analysis, asset management, and strategic business planning positions her perfectly to lead HVS Tel Aviv as the country’s hotel sector continues to undergo expansive growth. As Managing Partner, she will strengthen HVS Tel Aviv’s impact across the southern Mediterranean region, combining international know-how with local market intelligence, and delivering premium consultancy services.
