Bio:
Raj Contractor is Senior Vice President, Head of Investments for Host Hotels and Resorts and is responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, value enhancement projects and developments. Raj joined Host in 2008 and has been responsible for over $7 billion in global real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, developments, and redevelopments in the US, Asia and Latin America.
Recent notable transactions have included the acquisitions of the 1 Hotel South Beach, Turtle Bay Resort (and conversion to The Ritz Carlton), 1 Hotel Central Park, 1 Hotel/Embassy Suites Nashville and acquisition and divestment of Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort and the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole.
Raj holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
